About Us
A Texas energy company built on recovering waste cooking oil and turning it into fuel.
Who We Are
Pines Energy Group LLC is a privately held Texas limited liability company headquartered in Athens, Texas. We started by making biodiesel for local farms and ranches. To keep production supplied, we built our own oil collection operation.
Today those operations run as two companies. Pines Solutions collects and cleans the oil. Pines USA produces and supplies the fuel.

Brant Borden
Founder
Brant founded the company in East Texas after learning how biodiesel is made and seeing what fuel costs meant for the people around him. He started by collecting used cooking oil from local restaurants and turning it into fuel for nearby farms and ranches. That operation grew into Pines Energy Group.
